Assembly Worker
Assembly Technician - Day Shift. 6AM - 2:30PM, $9.50 per Hour.

Summary:Our client in Mills River, NC is looking for experienced Assemblers to manufacture a variety of products and kits.
Primary Job Functions:
Utilize work instructions to ensure good quality product.
Place hardware including screws, nuts, bolts, and labels into plastic bags the assembler then seals.
Install labels, service kits and switches where applicable.
Adhere to all safety rules.
Education and
Experience:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Skills and Knowledge:
Must have good dexterity in hands.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Must be detail oriented.
Forklift certification a real plus.
Physical Demands of Job:
Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, crouch, walk and use hands and arms to feel, touch, reach and grasp parts for duration of shift.
Regularly lift and move 25 pounds.
Visual skills must include close up, color, and depth perception.
Must be able to use basic air powered hand tools.
Work Environment:
The environment is typical of a light industrial setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for several hours at a time while performing various arm and hand movements. The employee is required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment while working. The work area is heated during cold weather but there is no cooling in hot weather.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
